The SR10 is a Bluetooth v2.1 Class 1 PTT (Push-To-Talk) adapter for two way radios. Now you can add two way radio or a radar detector to your personal audio network based on Bluetooth technology. You can hook up two way radio or a radar detector with the SR10 through the AUX jack of the SR10 and perform Bluetooth pairing to your phone with the SR10. The SR10 will transfer these audio streams to your Bluetooth Intercom, SMH10 or SPH10.
Along with Bluetooth Intercom, the SR10 enables you to talk to your people wirelessly through two way radio and get urgent alarm sounds from your radar detector. By using the SR10, users can use the cellular phone and the two way radio at the same time.
"SR10 only supports HFP(Hands-Free Profile) Bluetooth connection with a Bluetooth headset. HFP is a typical and standard Bluetooth headset connection which can only transmit mono audio. If a stereo audio device like the music player is connected to SR10, audio quality will be diminished to mono audio. Thus, connecting stereo audio device to SR10 is not recommended."
Auxiliary Jack #1 will accept either a GPS Navigation device or a Radar / Laser Detector.
Auxiliary Jack #2 will accept either a mobile phone, a GPS Navigation device or a Radar / Laser Detector.
The center jack, a Mini DIN Port will accept a Two Way Radio.
Please note: the SR10 device currently supports only the Midland 75-822 Citizens Band Radio (Adapter required)
The kit includes a PTT two way button a belt clip for carrying the unit on your person, A strap mounting for use on the bike and a coil cord 3.5mm plug to 3.5mm plug jumper.
Optional I-com, Kenwood, Midland, Motorola 1 pin, Motorola 2 pin and Yaesu two way radio cables are available and are sold separately.
